Hi, welcome to My Health Pursuit! My name is Jess, I’m 19, and I live with my boyfriend in a 1950’s house. This blog is a place for me to document my food and exercise habits as I learn how to live a healthy life.

This year, I moved out of home and realised that cooking does not come naturally to me. I want to eat much healthier, but I have a lot to learn. I always have questions about food and cooking (which my Mum always has the answer to), I’d love to read new recipes or tips- feel free to share yours with me! If I could,  I would just eat breakfast all day long…

I find exercising very relaxing and I love the energy boost it gives me. If I’m having a ‘lazy day’, I’ll probably be grouchy! This is my routine at the moment: 10-15 minutes of yoga in the morning, 10 minutes of strength training and some cardio (the length depends on how I’m feeling, it gets longer each day as I get fitter). I have recently started bike riding and it has quickly become my favourite type of exercise.
